Actress Jiah Khan is tired of alleged news of her marriage and she broke her silence on twitter and posted, “I am not married for the millionth time! Why does the press write such nonsense stories that are hurtful?”
There were reports that Jiah has married some foreigner clandestinely. However, the actress has rubbished it as rumour.
If it is not true, then may be the game of Chinese Whisper in town has absolutely erred somewhere.
The rumour may have got substantiated, firstly because she is doing fewer movies. She debuted with ‘Nishabd’ opposite Amitabh Bachchan in 2007. Next year she did a second lead role in Aamir Khan ‘Ghajini’. Later, she was off the light for two years. Most freshly she was seen in multi-starrer ‘Housefull’.
Secondly, her role in ‘Housefull’ must have introduced the foreigner angle in the string. She played the role of Devika, who cheats on her husband, with a foreigner, who she wanted to get married to, but could not because her father would not approve of a non-Indian son-in-law.
