Nithya Menon degree holder in Jeornalism and with the passion of film making she also joined in cinematography at Pune.Then Nitya menon
met with producer Nandini Reddy and Nitya Menon signed in her project as a female lead.
Nithya Menon but appeared in the silver screen as a baby artist at the age of eight in an indian english movie Hanuman in which
she acted as sister of Tabu.Nithya menon in 2008 done her first malayalam movie Akashagopuram with Mohanlal and Bharath Gopi
which directed by KP Kumaran, a national award winning director. Mohanlal is the who suggested the role after he spotted a magazine with Nitya on the cover page.
About her first film she received good critics writing 'Sparkling entry'. Nithya menon then moved to kannada and done her first movie there titled as Josh.
It was a commercial success and nominated for the supporting actress in the south indian film award.
Nandini Reddy's telugu comedy was Nithya's first film in that language. Even if the film received mixed reviews Nithya Menon's position
was safe in the movie.Nitya menon sang two songs for this movie which has the music by Kalyani Malik.

movie is Violin and the kannada movie Jogayya. Violin is directed by Sibi Malayail.
